OK AT THE START OF EVERY GAME I TELL MY TEAM IF THEY SEE AN EMPTY VEICHLE, STEAL IT AND BRING IT TO OUR BASE AND HIDE IT...BECAUSE THEN THAT 1 VEICHLE IS ONE LESS THAT THEY CAN BUY,, 1 GAME I HAD ALL THE ENEMYS VEICHLES AND THEY COULDNT BUY ANY IT WAS GREAT ![[Smile]](smile.gif) .. I WAS PLAYING A GAME TODAY AND I STOLE A TANK AND HIDE IT BEHIND THE PP.. I GET OUT TO REPAIR IT... SOME GUY ON MY TEAM THROWS A REMOTE ON IT AND BOOOOMMM ![[Mad]](mad.gif) ... I HATE NEWBS I SAID.... NEWBS DONT DESERVE TO LIVE THEY RUIN ALL THE GAMES.... I JUST WANTED TO GET THIS OF MY CHEST.. BECAUSE I ALWAYS TRY TO DO THIS AND EVERYBODY ON MY TEAM ALWAYS STEALS THE VEICHLES OR BLOWS THEM UPP.. OO MAN I HATE NEWBS..

I concur.
I choose to play on large public servers, where there is an increase level of "every-man- for-himself" syndrome.
If you steal an enemy vehicle and bring it back to base, it will most likely be destroyed or used by friendly forces.
Keep in mind two things:
1) I think a lot of folks go through the game without so much as looking at the dialogue box, so your instructions about the stolen vehicle might not even be 'heard' by some players.
2) You have to understand many players (newbs and n00bs alike) don;t understand how the vehicle limit works.
Keep playing, and don't get too discouraged. You obviously have got skilz.

Who care's? 1 vehicle more often then not will not make a difference, depending on the size of the game.
If you steal a mammy, are you going to leave it in the back of your base?

your not the only one, but i let the stealing to others, mostly i take the tank after they put it away and asure them i wont break it, i just prevent from noobs getting it usualy they understand and i keep it at base at all times.

So your saying... make a big pile of enemy vehicles in your base....hmmm
So what happens an enemy APC arrives in your base packed full of people.
They drive right up, steal the vehicles back, and pound your base.
NOT a very good tactic to me. Captured vehicles are best used out in the field.

Actually, if you place the vehicles where they have good coverage by defensive structures, it is pretty much impossible for them to steal them back.
I have gotten the stealing of vehicles to work once on a public game. It was on the 'Under' map. We managed to steal about 5 vehicles and park them near the ref, at the end of the strip. It was pretty funny. Since each side is limited to 8 vehicles total (no matter how many play, I believe) they were pretty screwed. Needless to say it was a lot of fun.

First, having caps on doesn't make anyone pay more attention, it just makes people think you don't know how to display emotions by writing in lower case.
Back on topic: I really think that people should learn all the aspects of a game before playing it. I have seen many new people accuse the other team of being hackers when they see "Limit Reached" under the vehicles tab in the PT.
Also, half the people who play don't know that you CAN steal vehicles. In one game in volcano, I stole a light tank (our weapons factory was destroyed) and half my team spent 10 minutes shooting at me and calling me a cheating n00b with an unlimited health aimbot (don't ask... they don't know what a hack or mod is, they call everything "aimbot"). LoL.

LMFAO!!!! That's the funniest thing I've ever heard.. EVER!
I do agree with everythjing everybody here is saying.. BUT the problem is, you hafta let them know what you're doing! TELL them numerous time b4 you steal a vehicle! because some people just don't read the top left hand side!!!
There have been games where I have tried to tell my team of a plan, and they either ignore me, or they just don't read anything except "ATTACK THE BASE DEFENSES!" & "AFFIRMATIVE!"
Note to all you Renegaders... Unless you are on the verge of killing somebody, READ! If I'm telling you the nuke is in our power plant.. that mneans get your ass inside that pplant NOW and disarm it!
Stupid newbs.. it makes me laugh when a nuke is placed in a building, and they think that repairing it on the outside will help the building survive! Repairing buildings on the outside period is just pathetic... you think they've never played Single Player Renegade!

I think I was in that game. We had a mammoth and 2 meds and a hummer i think, I have a snapshot of it actually. But I think the game ended before we were really able to make an advantage out of it, but it was still funny to see those tanks parked in our base. Was really surprised no one took off with them.
