just a quick post soliciting anyones expertise on tactics of how to beat gdi in 1 v 1 multiplayer. Once he gets his mammoth it is all over especially if he is ahead in pts and playing defence. We play field map and under. I have tried bringing personnel carrier in to nuke him but his tower typically wipes me out first. Any help would be appreciated. Tired of losing to gdi everytime. When I happen to be gdi I almost always win.

mammoths are a lot of money
Base D map
1) take out harvy early with flame thrower
2) if justs waits for a mammoth and doesnt buy a med tank buy a flamer or stealth tank and rush agt
if ur good like me then u should be able to wipe out mammoths easily with light tanks or stealths
to do this make sure ur camera is locked to turrt to u can drive sideways while shooting the slow piece of **** ( u shouldnt miss one single shot while he will miss several if u move around)
on a no D map
1) once again hit harv
2) kill urself fast and get an engie and plant c4 on a building...at his point u should have plenty of cash for a stealth tank and a tech...
just drive ur stealth in, get out place remotes and timed on mct...get in tank..wait for timed to go off...exit tank ...detonate...get in tank...repeat
should be game over

Try using a flame tank. I always destroy a mammy using a "flamer". Try to get behind it and flame it while continually bumping it. You will take severe dammage but if done correctly you will defeat it. Also use a flame against the AGT. It will damage you quite a bit but will not kill you. Drive right up to it and blaze it. Make sure you stay in the same spot. While you are against it it won't fire at you much. Just don't move until you destroy it. It almost always works for me.

Hmm -
if the camper is sitting by his agt --
just use a FT to block his harvy out in the field -
place another on the ramp leading to his base (where he cant see it)
Become a tech - run down his tunnel and plant a nuke - you can try the PP or just place it by the box on the bottom.
He will either - run back to the beacon to disarm - -
or lose the PP..
either way - as soon as the nuke goes off - rush in with your pre-placed FT .
power will be off - so no agt - or he will be in the back disarming...
that should do it...
