i have snuck in it GDI and NOD many times with the harvester. no lie just turn to 3ed person view and fallow the harvester, using it to hide from the Defences. i walk right in to the GDI base on the feild and nuked the guard tower and on the city i walk right in to kill the power plant that way.

it's not as good for GDI to use it over Nod. Since GDI doesn't have stealth infantry and the obelisk is high up and can shoot over the harvester.
and how did you get to the PowerPlant? I don't see how it's possible on City since it's turned badly, I have seen the WF and ref killed though on it (I've done the ref myself)

Yeah - this tactic can work against the unwary opponent....
but i ALWAYS pay attention when the base defenses fire - and head in that general direction ----
I also look at the Nod Turrets -- they start to spin toward the uncoming enemy - gives me a heads up of direction....
and it is *possible* to get in the GDI PP on city - you may take some damage -- but you need to hug the wall of the PP and run like heck...

if you do it properly on some maps, the AGT won't even fire once.
and yes, the turrets are a best use is to tell where the enemy is attack from.
Though, I still don't think GDI should really use this tactic, they don't have the advantage of beinging invisible.
oh, is it possible to do this trick on under on GDI to get to the AGT? I have yet to pull it off, one time I almost did it but I was killed by a missile from it that turned hard.

i agree this tatic is best with SBH unit. but i have been a GDI hotty on a lossing game. i roll in behind the harvy on city when it got to the pp i took off to it and destoried it. it was cool except that our base was destoried a minute later.
