all 3 bot errors [message #445629]

hey i tried cloudy serve and it dont evan have a install file

nightregulator when installing fails to register a dll
and when i ignore and open nr it says corrupted nrconfig.ini - radar

and brenbot i dont know what the hell is wrong with that i install and when i click to run it it opens and closes in 3 seconds says something like renserver.ini missing i put one there but nothing worked

any ideas to fix these

BTW i running it on windows server 2008

Follow the instructions in the BRenBot readme file to point it to your FDS installation so it can find the server.ini in that location.

A) Are you running the NR installer as admin?
B) Can you post your svrcfg_cnc.ini and your server.ini in your FDS directory? (remove any passwords/serials of course)

What appears to be happening is... your have a perfectly valid server.ini in your FDS dir... and RenegadeServer.exe exists so its accepted it as a valid FDS installation.. but then when it tries to import the configuration file the radar is set to something other than 0, 1 or 2 and it shits itself because something is TERRIBLY wrong Razz

Since the FDS shouldnt even load like that. Admittedly NR should probably silently recover rather than shit itself.. but thats whats causing the problem Razz

The error catching module is not loading untill later on in the boot up which is why NR simply shits itself lol.
